Burst pipe rescue on a Sunday night

A push-fit joint let go in a loft and water was coming through a bedroom ceiling. We talked the homeowner through shutting off the stopcock over the phone, arrived within the hour, replaced the failed section in copper and helped dry things out before more damage was done.
